LITTLE LEAGUE WEEKENDS
It’s that time of year again for the Mariners Little League Weekends XXVi. Each year the Seattle Mariners offer four games to Little Leaguers, their families and friends at a special discount. Normally $20, these tickets are at a special Little League price of $11 each.
If the players wear their uniform to the game, they, along with their families are invited to walk along the warning track on Safeco Field before each game. Each of these games also has a promotional giveaway to kids 14 and under. (See attached ticket form under “Great Giveaways”)
Last year, over 150 people representing Sequim Little League attended the Mariners games! In order for this event to be successful there is some information that I would like to pass along to you to prevent any problems from occurring.
1) IMPORTANT: Please write the parent’s name, NOT the child’s name in the “NAME” section of the ticket form.
2) At the bottom of the form, write your child’s name and their team name. This makes it easier for me to find you if your form is separated from the team.
3) Make sure you write the number of tickets under each date that you plan on attending and circle that number or numbers. Also, it is important to add up the total number of tickets you will be purchasing and write that down in the “TOTAL TICKETS” line.
4) Make checks payable to: Sequim Little League. 5) All ticket forms and money should be turned in to the team mom. The team mom will then be responsible for turning in all of the forms for their team. An envelope will be provided to each team. You may want to set your own team deadline prior to the League deadline in order to get all the forms in on time.
6) If you want to sit with another family or sit together as a team, just fill out one form for your group. I cannot guarantee seat placement if the forms are turned in separately.
7) DEADLINE FOR TEAMS TO TURN IN FORMS AND MONEY IS SATURDAY, APRIL 21ST!!! Team Moms can turn in envelopes upstairs in the clubhouse or the concession stand. This year, the deadline to call in the order to the Mariners is a lot sooner than years past so please get your forms and money turned in as soon as possible.
8) Unfortunately, the April 22nd game will not be offered to Sequim Little League this season due to an earlier deadline.
I can only order the tickets one time as a Little League group. Once the order is called in, I cannot add onto the order or change the game dates. Orders are filled on a First-Come First-Served basis per League.
