Minutes for Board Meeting March 7, 2010

Update on the water issue: We have a meeting on March 22nd with the city council at the transit center. Lisa and Fred Milar along with Shawnna will be attendint the meeting. Anyone that would like to come to the meeting is welcome.
-Field expansion for new girls field. Fred is ready to start construction. Put up fence and screen out stones in the field.
-Opening Day is April 10th at 10 AM. Be here at 9:15 with your team at the Tball fields. We will have uniforms before opening day. Bring a sharpie to opening day and have all the kids put their name in the hat. THe hats will be $10.00 for a new one if you lose your hat, or if anyone would like to purchase a hat they can.
-Opening day committee: Kristi,Kathy, Teresa, Bill, Lisa Melissa, Audrey, Heather. Opening day is rain or shine!
-We will have games on Opening Day. We will be selling product, sweatshirts and Krispy Kremes. Prep, Major and Minor Boys would like to play opening day.
-Managers and Coaches please make sure you lock the bathroom doors as you leave the fild. Thank you!
-Thatcher field : You can no longer acess from Narrows Rd. There is a fence up now.
-Sweatshirts and wind breakers are now available to purchase.
-Managers/ Coaches Do you know how you know how you are supposed to clean filed when you are done practicing? Please ask if you are unsure. We may have a clinic on showing anyone interested how to properly rake the fields when done using them.
-Please pick up trash on the fileds if you see it. We will be getting a recycle bin for the plastic bottles soon.
-Field Maitenance Day: Lead by Bill Bates will be on April 3rd from 9 to 5. Work Party to maintain fields before opening day.
-Make sure everyone who comes in contact with the kids has filled out a background check.
-If you see anyone hanging around the fields that looks suspicous please let a mangaer or coach know.
-Any parents causing problems during a game or practice please ask them to stop heckling.
-No dogs on the field. No smoking!
-New rules: Softball everyone voted to keep the district rules all season.
-Baseball: Minors were all in favor of advancing the runner.
-Brad Lato is a girls minor coach.
-March 12th till after opening day Big 5 certificates will be in affect, we get 5% of the total for the month. Please give out certificates.
-We need money for our new field. Any ideas please let us know.
-We will be selling cookie dough as a fundraiser this year.
-We put in for All stars at our fields this year.
-We are going to dedicate opening day to Herman Murillo this year.
