Maintenance Day: January 31, 2010

Hi Sequim Little League,

I wanted to personally THANK all of the people who dedicated time today to our Little League Fields. I continue to thank some of the same ol' hand full of people who I know will show up like Bill Bates, Dave Bentz, Dan, Zach and Kyla Rigg, The Millar Family, and Scott Perdue. However it was real exciting to have some "new blood" there today. A BIG THANKS to The Lelle Family, Nick Mobley, Teresa Miller and River Hardin, Sharon, Eric and Charlie Prosser, Brandon Carey, and Hailey Kapetan. It was a productive day but we still have some more work to do. I sincerely appreciate all of you!

Our fields are maintained solely by the volunteers of Sequim Little League. That means us Parents and Kids who enjoy them all season long. Don't worry if you were unable to attend today there will be another chance. Stay tuned Betty Bates, (our information officier) will be inviting you all to come out again before the 1st registration/tryout day. We have more work to do.

A special Thank you Dan, Nick, and Fred Millar, Thachter Field is no longer leaking they also managed to replace all the leaky water pipes! Great job Guys!

Just a HUGE Thank you to all of you that spent all day Sunday 2/14 and Saturday 2/20 at the Little League Field for our registration and tryouts!

Registration committee, (Julie Vig, Teresa Miller, Lisa Millar, Cathy Bourm, Melanie Bentz, Berta Murillo, Heather Eldredge, Audrey Lato, Janet Weyel, Michelle Morton, Karen Lewis, Betty Bates) Fantastic job we did it again! (at least Sat. we had lots of sunshine huh?)

A big Thanks to Nick, Tray, Scott Perdue, Joe Morton, Thor,Rowdy,and Chris Young for all your help with everything!

Player Agents,Melissa Kalen and Kristi Hart, and all your tryout helpers... Thank you couldn't have done it without you!

Once again, to Bill Bates, Dan Rigg, Guy Eldredge, Dave Bentz, The fields looked good for tryouts. You guys are awesome! (oh yes, and to our new helpers Tray thanks for mowing Thatcher and Knapp) And last but not least YES, Dean helped with the girls field too!! ;) Thank you Dean!
